The triumph follows three defeats in both the Premier League and the TCL T20 that stretch back to October 13.
The Demons had set up the game with a brilliant start with the ball, leaving Trevallyn 5-23 in the sixth over.
Daniel Kirk resurrected the Trevallyn innings through a defiant 27 off 31 balls.
Some lusty late-order hitting from Louis Bordin, who hit 30 off 25 balls including three sixes, added 21 in the last two overs to reach 8-109.
Alex Suitor was the pick of the Perth bowlers with 3-16.
The Demons never looked in doubt of chasing down the moderate total. Opener Zac Garland was stumped for two, but captain John Hayes (39) and ex-coach Matt Lawrence (57) next combined for a 93-run partnership.

Sri Lankan gun Thanuka Dabare guided Hadspen to a massive 77-run over ACL.
The opener belted 88 off 44 balls that included 10 fours and five sixes. Countryman Dilan Jayalath added an unbeaten 30 off 19 balls to get the Chieftains to 6-180.
Deepak Singh starred for ACL with 3-16 off 24 balls.
The Bluebacks struggled to 4-22 and only Singh's 26 off 23 balls got the side to 8-103.
Jona Watts led the attack early with 2-9 from Jayalath (2-12) and Alan Eadie (2-25).
