The Greenwood Bar was one of four properties police swarmed about midday on Wednesday, with several officers surrounding the bar's perimeter while others conducted searches inside.
A number of marked and unmarked police cars were used to block vehicles in the car park attached to the bar.
The Examiner understands there was also a strong police presence on Hobart Road at Kings Meadows.
Police would not reveal the location of the other three properties searched because they said the investigation was ongoing.

Detective Inspector Craig Fox said for several months there'd been an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking which led to Wednesday's raids.
A 38-year-old Newstead man, a 28-year-old Kings Meadows man and a 26-year-old Mowbray woman were arrested as a result of the police operation, with officers expecting to question the trio once the searches had finished.
Detective Inspector Fox said a significant amount of cash and drugs were located during the raids.
"We are aware of several players in the Launceston area who are importing and distributing illicit drugs, whether it be heroin, cocaine, MDMA or ice. We have seized all those quantity of drugs today," he said.
"Any opportunity we have to disrupt the distribution or importation of any drug into Tasmania is a big win for the community.
"Not only do we get the product off the street, but we can also hold the people who are profiting from human misery to account and get them before the court.
"This is a really good result for Launceston police and Launceston CIB."
Stun guns and tasers were also found at the properties.
About 60 officers from the Northern drug investigation services and CIB, supported by general and specialist police including drug detection dogs were involved in the operation.
"Some of the searches we've conducted today have been complicated," Detective Inspector Fox said.
"One property had multiple rooms on multiple levels."
