A violent act of bullying has left a Northern Tasmanian high school student anxious and suffering a concussion.

The incident took place at Deloraine High School on Monday, where a student has been filmed physically assaulting another student.
A video of the attack was uploaded to social media, but has since been removed.
An Education Department spokesperson said they were aware of the incident.
"School staff acted quickly to support those involved in the incident and will continue to support those students and their families," they said.
"When unacceptable behaviour such as fighting occurs, school and Learning Services staff engage with relevant students and parents.
"Appropriate consequences are put into place and where necessary, a program conducted at the school by Tasmania Police may be utilised."

It is believed the perpetrator was suspended from the school for two weeks following the incident.
The two students allegedly had a history, with issues ongoing since primary school.
The spokesperson said all students had the right to be free from bullying, harassment, and discrimination.
"Bullying is taken very seriously and is not acceptable or tolerated in Tasmanian schools," they said.
"All schools are implementing programs, policies, procedures and support networks to reduce the impact and occurrence of bullying, with clear documented processes and supports in place to manage such behaviour.
"Promoting positive student behaviour and responding appropriately to unacceptable student behaviour supports a school to maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
"Respect is a core value of the Department of Education - this shared commitment between the community, parents, schools and students supports all learners to succeed."
Tasmania Police was aware of the incident, however said no official report had been made.
