Sales assistant Cameron Towns said the opening on Saturday was very popular.
Apart from stocking a variety of sporting shoes, the store boasts a MyFit foot scanning machine.

The machine analyses your feet to give an accurate measurement of their dimensions to better fit you for a shoe.
"When you're walking it also films your feet to see if they roll inwards or outwards and that helps us decide what shoe to get you," Mr Towns said.
Mr Towns added the machine helps not only your average customer, but those in need of an accurate scan of their feet for medical reasons.
"Lot's of podiatrists send their customers to us to use the machine ... we had a podiatrist come in today and he said he was just relieved that we're here so he doesn't have to send people all the way down to Hobart just to get shoes."
