Leonard William Riley, 27, did not enter pleas to 12 charges when he appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
His charges include stealing, attempted motor vehicle stealing, drive while disqualified, dishonestly alter or display a plate in a way calculated to deceive, drive without due care and attention, evading police (aggravated circumstances), motor vehicle stealing, resist a police officer, possess a controlled drug and possess controlled plant or its products.

The Mowbray man mimed "I love you" to his partner who was present for the proceedings before yelling expletives as he was escorted from the court.
He was remanded to reappear on November 28.
