Held in Hobart, the Tasmanian Tourism Awards acknowledged the hundreds involved in the industry.
Three East Coast tourism businesses received awards.
However, none of them are strangers to the awards, with all three winning before.
Maria Island Walk won Best Ecotourism. The iconic walk has won at the awards in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2016 and 2017. Avalon Retreats Tasmania took home two awards with Unique Accommodation awarded to Rocky Hill's Retreat, and its sister property Avalon Coastal Retreat winning Self Contained Accommodation.
Avalon Retreat is in the award's Hall of Fame for self-contained accommodation after winning the category for five years in a row, and in the Hall of Fame for Deluxe Accommodation.
The winners can now enter the national awards held in Canberra next year.
