One. Point. Five. Million.
That's a lot of objects!
The majority of the cultural institution's collection is usually kept stored safe and secure and out of sight of the public.
But with an audit underway - the first in QVMAG's history - the precious items will be coming up for air.
The public can view the curators at work at the art gallery, Royal Park, during business hours - stop by to be surprised by what you see, from from tiny native fleas to expansive landscape paintings.
And we'll be keeping you up to date with some of the most intriguing objects as the audit progresses.
