Deloraine is emerging as a genuine finals contender for next season after announcing the signature of former TSL midfielder Brayden Butler.
Joining Devonport in 2014, the 23-year-old was named best and fairest in the club's final year of State League football in 2017 after winning by one vote from Launceston forward Dylan Riley.
The Magpies' exit from the top-flight saw Butler return to boyhood club Latrobe, with whom he won the 2013 NWFL flag, resulting in a runaway victory in the Demons' 2019 best and fairest award.

The former Tassie Mariner is set to form an exciting midfield partnership with reigning Hec Smith Medallist and new Deloraine coach Lochy Dornauf as the Kangaroos plot a return to NTFA finals for the first time since the 2015 season.
The Roos finished the 2019 season in eighth spot with a 4-12 record and were considerably more competitive than in the previous three seasons.
Brad Powe's side came within two goals of eventual premier Hillwood on two occasions this year and enjoyed wins over Bracknell, Rocherlea, Scottsdale and George Town.
