TattsLotto public relations head Matt Hart said they were still waiting for someone to discover the winning news.
"Currently we haven't heard. It's still out there. Someone is yet to make that happy discovery."
Mr Hart said the winner(s) had six months to claim their share of the division one win, which was drawn on Saturday November 2. Each of the 12 winning entries gained a prize of $1,666,666.67.
The Tasmanian ticket was sold at the Latrobe Newsagency, 90 Gilbert Street, Latrobe.
"If it hasn't been claimed after six months, it goes to the state government of Tasmania and then they have to claim it from there," he said.
"But most people do come forward within a fortnight of the draw.
"They have the routine of popping into the shop, checking the ticket and buying the next one.
"Hopefully this week we will hear from them. Often it's been hiding in plain sight the whole time."
He said five division one winners from the same draw, who lived in Victoria, had already claimed their prizes.
"There's lots of nice plans happening," Mr Hart said.
"Someone's left work and is retiring immediately. All the other winners are happily planning what they're going to do."
However TattsLotto was still chasing several of the 12 winners in WA, and two from SA, along with the mystery Tasmanian.
"This is the 11th division one win in Tasmania this year and the second sold in Latrobe. They sold one in June."
Mr Hart urged the ticket buyers to register their tickets so they could be contacted when they won.
"Its probably just a good idea to register entries and then you would be united with the winning ticket."
