The AEC on Monday released disclosure returns for this year's federal election candidates.
There were 1514 candidates who contested the federal election and 521 of those made individual disclosures on donations received and money spent on the campaign.
Candidates endorsed by a political party were able to provide a nil disclosure
Annual disclosure returns for political parties will be released in February.
Figures showed former Braddon Labor MHR Justine Keay received $34,333 in donations and spent $54,886 on her campaign.
Former Bass Labor MHR Ross Hart received 29 donations totaling $45,165 and spent $41,956.
Braddon independent candidate Craig Brakey received $40,776 in donations and spent $45,936 and Senate candidate Craig Garland received nine donations totaling $17,542.
Bass independent candidate Todd Lambert received $28,208 in donations.
Re-elected Lyons Labor member Brian Mitchell received $29,940 in donations and spent $35,981 on his election campaign.
Clark independent MHR Andrew Wilkie received $23,257 from 52 donors and spent $98,770 on his campaign.
Mr Mav did not declare any donations but declared he spent $157,400 on his election campaign.
He won just 3579 first-preference votes.
