Spring has sprung once more and Longford Town Hall will be bursting with the best blooms the community can grow next weekend.
The Longford Garden Club's Spring Flower Show is returning for its 51st year, after it celebrated its golden anniversary last year.
Club social media manager Liz Preece said each year they had from about 50 to 70 exhibitors.
"We had a big children's section this year, which is new, we teamed up with some of the local schools," she said.
"The plant stall is back and Northern Midlands' mayor Mary Knowles is opening the event on Saturday."
