A mainstay of the national over-60s cricket team since December 2016, Richardson is set for his next challenge against the old enemy, England for the 'Grey Ashes'.
It's been running since 2013," Richardson said.
"The English have got them but we are quietly confident of getting them back in Australia. They actually have a replica of it and the captains pass it backwards and forwards according to whatever happens."

Competing in the over-60s national carnival in Adelaide from November 2-7, the Launceston general practitioner will play against sides from all six states, the ACT and for the first time in the titles' history, New Zealand.
The Australian team to compete for the Ashes will be picked from the carnival, with the English side set to converge on Tasmania for tour matches in Hobart and Launceston on November 12 and 15 before the internationals in Bowral, Port Macquarie and Brisbane.
Richardson won't be gracing his home-town NTCA ground as the Northern game will feature a development side but he will take part in the Hobart game.
"It's the most fantastic thing to do. Just great camaraderie, the game's played in really good spirit.
"The intensity is lower than when we were younger but people still play the game with exactly the same thought processes going on.
"Everybody gives it their exact best representing their country so it's certainly not taken lightly."
