The 2055 acre property - Stockwell - sold at auction on Friday for $4.45 million.
Bushby Property rural sales' Guy Archer said it was a rare opportunity.
"It's the first time in 124 years that it's been on the market and it has been held in the one family for all that time," he said.
"It's in a well-held area in one of the world-renowned wool growing areas."
Mr Archer said there had been a "heap" of interest during the property's six-week advertising period.
"We had over 30 inspections and seven or eight of them were two or three times," he said.
Mr Archer said he was pretty confident the land would sell for the hoped $4 million.
More than 50 people attended the auction, with about five active bidders.
David Taylor ended up with the winning bid to purchase the property.
The new owner is also able to buy the livestock on the property at the moment.
The property had become part of an estate after the former owner died earlier this year.
