The first-year motorcycle mechanical technology student is among those set to benefit from a donation from Kawasaki Motors.
On Tuesday a pilot production Versys 1000SE, complete with a computer service tool, was donated to the automotive team at TasTAFE's Alanvale campus.
Automotive education manager Nick Cameron said it was a great example of how TasTAFE and industry could work together to help train the next generation of mechanics.
"The generous donation of this bike will expose our motorcycle apprentices to the latest equipment to work on and improve their practical skills and knowledge, especially in the electronic ride and safety management systems that this fantastic bike includes," he said.
Ms Mustart said getting to see the bike up close was a real thrill.
"It's great to see the latest technology, like this, up close and personal," she said.
