Able to only nominate for the Kangaroos through their Tasmanian alliance and the part-time nature of the AFLW competition, King joins Launceston team-mates Daria Bannister and Chloe and Libby Haines as well as fellow Tasmanians Emma Humphries, Nicole Bresnahan, Brittany Gibson and 2020 draftee, Ellie Gavalas at the club.
The 18-year-old had a stellar 2019 season, representing Tasmania in the NAB League as well as gaining most valuable player for the Eastern Allies at the under-18 national championships.
