Originally from Hobart, the 43-year-old father-of-two took out the Australian Whitewater Grand Prix earlier this month after returning from an eight-year layoff last year.
Hall achieved the fastest overall time in three races - North Esk and Lea River in Tasmania and the Snowy River in New South Wales - qualifying him for Indonesia's Asahan Extreme Race in early December.
"It's going to attract the best whitewater paddlers from around the world because there's a lot of prizemoney up for grabs," Hall said.
"The winner's going to get six grand so all the good paddlers will be there."

A paddler since the age of seven, Hall first tried his hand at whitewater as a 15-year-old and competed in the Wildwater race team in Europe between 2003 and 2010.
A mountain bike, paddling and rafting adventure guide by trade, Hall spent plenty of time on the water during his layoff but knew he wasn't completely done with the whitewater.
"I had about eight years off from 2010 until last year when I moved to Launny and there was so much water flowing in the rivers all the time and so close to Launny," he said.
"It's a really good place to base yourself for paddling.
"I got really fit and strong again so I thought I'd have another crack.
"I always regretted stopping so it's been great to get back amongst it."
Hall said he was unsure how he would measure up against the world's best despite impressing in his Grand Prix win.
"I really don't know - I haven't raced overseas for a few years now so I'm looking forward to see how I go with the overseas competition," he said.
"When I was racing I did win a few world cup medals and did alright.
"Then I stopped and regretted stopping and I'm just starting again, so I'm not sure where I'm going to place."
Hall said Paddle Tasmania was the best point of contact for anyone looking to take up the sport.
