The sluggish start to the Premier League season has forced coach Andrew Gower to begrudgingly change the batting order and adopt a different bowling tact.
"We're obviously out to have a better performance allround - that's the key this week," he said. "We made a couple of changes to the side and as I said last week, there is going to be some tinkering with the batting order."
Anish Paraam has come off the plane from Singapore and straight into the No.3 slot in the hope of giving the side's batting more impetus.
Jake Williams will instead slide down the order as a result for what Gower said would "free him up a bit".
Mowbray paceman Ben Spinks will replace clubmate Blake Cassidy for the Raiders while Devonport allrounder Sam O'Mahony will miss.
"The good thing from my point of view is that we have good stability and we haven't had to make many changes to date," Gower said.
"We haven't played at our best all-round game yet, but we're still really happy with the squad and the structure.
MORE CRICKET
"We have to tinker around with a few bits and pieces.
"The focus this week has been bowling more consistently with our line and lengths, and tweaking our batting to get more than 160."
The Raiders reached 7-160 in their opener that Clarence chased down in 32 overs for the fall of just two wickets.
University pushed to 265 at Windsor Park coming off the bye in which the hosts struggled again, posting just 153 with 45 balls to spare.
Lindisfarne look to stand in the way of condemning the second-year team to a third successive defeat after registering a maiden win last season in its second game.
Former Mowbray spinner Jarrod Freeman is set to miss the clash for Lindisfarne after being named in an extended Sheffield Shield squad.
"Lindisfarne are a quality side and we're under no illusions of what we're coming up against," Gower said.
"We just want to keep playing our brand of cricket, keep working on what we have all done preseason and try to get that to happen in games to get a bit of a momentum."
