The girls are a part of the 320 pipes and drums, 100 highland dancers, 13 military bands with 865 military performers, 40 fiddlers, and 100 Australian Federation Guard members that make up the Scottish spectacular.
Only 22 Australian highland dancers were selected.
Dancer Elie Roe Daniel, 23, has performed in two Edinburgh's tattoos, and said there would be something special about performing the dance she loves at an Australian staging.
"When we get to go out on the field it's an amazing feeling," she said.
"And dancing with an international team, you get to meet people from all over the world."
The Launceston dancers are performing five items in the show.
