Northern duo Jack Heathcote and Oliver Carswell both had their fair share of triumphs in the tie with Deloraine's Heathcote pushing Liam McDowell to the limit in a 6-4 7-6 singles loss.
Carswell was handed the Thanasi Kokkinakis award by Western Australia's team manager and players for showing exceptional sportsmanship and a focus on improvement throughout the tie while Dale received the Ash Barty award.
