The event on Tuesday coincides with Global Climate Change Week and will feature four panelists offering their perspectives on the relationship between climate action and climate activism, followed by an audience Q&A.
The panelists include Meghan Bond, a PhD researcher and farmer Meghan Bond, and year 11 student Chloe McCann, who organised the Global Strike for Climate in the state and is a member of the Australian Youth Climate Coalition.

Along with Andrew Pitt from UTAS Institute for the Study of Social Change, and Zeik Devereaux-McLean, a fifth year UTAS health and medicine student and member of Doctors for the Environment Australia.
The panel will discuss questions surrounding activism, including how many people it takes to start change and what activism avenues are being used such as petitions, protests, or riding to work.
UTAS Associate Professor Fred Gale will facilitate the October 15 event at Saint John Craft Beer Bar from 5.30pm to 7pm, free tickets are available on Eventbrite.
