She will start from box four in the eighth race on the progam and is the early favourite ahead of Buckle Up Azona and Buckle Up Carter.
The Robin Grubb-trained bitch is coming off an all-the-way 29.87 win last week which was her eighth from 11 starts at the track and distance.
Grubb said Hello Rhonda had taken a while to regain top form after returning from her trip to Western Australia.
"She was a bit flat when we got her home from Perth after the Sprint Championship," the trainer told the Greyhound Recorder.
"Looking back, it was a big ask of her. She dropped a kilo on the trip over and on the trip back so we had to ease up on her for 10 days or so after she got home.
"It's taken three or four runs to get her back to where she should be so I was really happy with her win last Monday night.
"She should be hard to beat again this week - she loves Launceston."
Grubb said his plan with Hello Rhonda was to tackle the Devonport Chase on his way to the Hobart Thousand.
The Devonport Chase, which replaces the Devonport Cup, has been moved back to a Tuesday afternoon, on December 3.
It had been listed for the following Friday but that would have meant a clash with a Devonport thoroughbred meeting.
