Playing in the Combined Australian Netball Association carnival held from October 3-8, the Northern Tassie Titans played 10 full games of netball in six days, finishing runners-up in in an "exhausting but rewarding" experience.
Pulled together by coach Trescia Grice, the 10 girls played in the under-15 division, some of them playing alongside each other for the first time.
"They outweighed my expectations. We went there with none because we didn't know who we would be coming up against," she said.

"We played some South Australian teams, some Hobart teams and it was a really good carnival with a really good atmosphere.
"It was really nice for the Northern girls to go down and compete down there. We didn't go under any banner though.
"I was happy to coach them and the parents were happy to come along and put some money in so off we went."
Starting off the carnival with a huge 94-9 win in the first round, the Titans looked hard to beat throughout, winning seven of their eight round games before semi-final competition and only falling victim to a combined State League side.
Taking out their semi-final over South Australia, a rematch against their former conquerors awaited with the State League team prevailing yet again despite the best efforts of the Titans, who outscored their rivals in the second half.
Coming up short 60-41, it wasn't all doom and gloom for the side with goal-shooting duo Olive Morris and Esther Kidmas making the championship side voted on by opposition coaches.
"For Olive, it was her first time as a goal attack, she usually plays as a shooter because they are both very tall but played goal attack while we were away.
"We called them the tall towers and they just worked beautifully together. It was the first time they've played together and they just were just brilliant together."
Plans are already in place for the girls to attempt to go one better next year as they are set to travel to South Australia for the event.
