The Help Us Help Our Local Community initiative raises funds for early learning centres.
More than 300 pharmacies across the country are taking part, with last year's campaign raising more than $10,000.
The initiative raises funds though in store donations alongside sales from the chemists' children's range.
The St Helens Pharmacy has elected to fundraise for nearby childcare centre Poss'm'agic and Bicheno Pharmacy has elected Little Penguins Childcare.
Chemists' Own brand manager Stephanie Calapa said the initiative was designed to help support organisations and programs that do meaningful work and play a caring role within communities around Australia.
"Early learning centres were an obvious choice to be the beneficiaries of Help Us, in light of all the wonderful work they do in caring for the next generation," she said.
"As a trusted cornerstone in communities, we are delighted to see that so many pharmacies are keen to participate in the initiative and raise funds for their local centres."
At the end of the program, five pharmacies will be chosen to receive an award, which will see a $1000 educational experience voucher donated to their learning centre of choice alongside a $200 gift card for the pharmacy.
Other Northern Tasmanian pharmacies have also gotten involved in the initiative.
The Olde Tudor Guardian and Summerhill Guardian Pharmacy have elected Glen Dhu Childcare.
In the North-West, Boland's Pharmacy elected Alexander Beadle House and Healthsave Wilkinson's Pharmacy elected School of Special Education North West, and Smithton Guardian Pharmacy elected Giggles Early Learning.
The campaign will run until December, with the winning pharmacy to be announced on December 6.
