Sarah Charlotte Gray did not enter pleas to her 159 counts of dishonestly acquiring a financial advantage when she appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Ms Gray told the court she hadn't received a summons from police but knew something was happening so she appeared.
The court heard Ms Gray, formerly of Mayfield, was now living in Melbourne.

Magistrate Sharon Cure asked Ms Gray, who was unrepresented, what she planned on doing.
Ms Gray, 23, told the court she'd spoken to several lawyers and would have representation soon.
The accused said she was getting married and the charges were fresh news to her fiance, who had also travelled from Victoria to support her.
Ms Gray said she moved interstate because she lost a lot of family after the alleged offences became known.
The court heard Ms Gray's fiance's family have and continue to be very supportive.
She was bailed to reappear on November 26.
