A proud little athletics participant which has brought her a plethora of success alongside playing for Gee Tees netball club in the Northern Tasmania Netball Association, Bianca has been nominated for The Examiner's Junior Sports Awards' Female Rising Star of the Year.
Coached by Tim and Michelle Heron as well as James Anderson, the rising star achieved gold-medal performances at Little Athletics Tasmania's state championships in heptathlon, javelin, 800m, 400m, and 1500m race walk, picking up wins in both track and field.

The heptathlon performance was enough to achieve an under-15 level state qualifying standard (at age 13) of which she bettered her previous personal best by 300 points in a fourth-placed finish at March's Australian Multi-Event Championships in Hobart.
Working her way through the little athletics pathway, Bianca sealed a spot in the Athletics Tasmania Talent Target Program as well as attending the 2019 Little Athletics Australia under-15 Coaching Camp, held at the Australian Institute of Sport.
The sole Tasmanian attending the camp, Bianca is one of only 113 athletes invited to the AIS after having achieved the national qualification standard set by Little Athletics Australia and has represented Tasmania in athletics since she was 10.
Stepping onto the netball court during the winter season, she was awarded player of the grand final in her side's 2018 premiership triumph before trying her luck and stepping up to under-17 division one netball despite her youth.
Bianca is also consistently a member of the NTNA's representative sides, having been picked for the last three seasons.
