Playing for Tasmania at the Australian National Futsal Championships in January this year, team selectors noticed Casey's high standard of play and an invitation was extended for a November Hawaii trip.
Competing in the Pacific Rim Futsal Cup, the Australian Futsal Association has sent teams to Hawaii for the past four years, with players engaging in both match play and training.
Nominated for The Examiner's Junior Sports Awards in the male rising star category, Casey has made the Tasmanian team for January's nationals again, with a chance at a 2020 Australian guernsey up for grabs.
Casey's family is running a raffle to assist in covering costs for the international trip with a variety of prizes available. For more information visit here or contact 0418316475.
