Tasmania Police senior sergeant Jason Bidgood said calls for information have so far returned nothing.
"Police don't have any specific medial concerns for Robert, but his family are concerned that they haven't been in contact with him," he said.
"We'd like anyone with information to contact us on 131444."
He was driving a white 1995 Mitsubishi Triton tray top with registration DJ8204.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Mr Jenson is described as Caucasian, 182-centimetres tall, slim build, brown-grey wavy hair.
He was wearing a brown-fawn polo shirt, faded blue jeans and old blue-grey sneakers.
Senior sergeant Bidgood said this sort of behaviour was out of character for Mr Jenson.
"Robert had a similar occurrence where he was away for about seven days about 10 years ago. But there hasn't been any occurrences since then," he said.
"There are no indications as to why he would not return home."
Inquires are being made, the same as they would with any missing person, police said.
