There will be two concerts: one at the Auld Kirk Presbyterian Church at Sidmouth, and another at the All Saints Anglican Church at Exeter.
The biennial event is organised by the West Tamar Arts Group and co-ordinator Frances Graham said it aims to entertain the community at rich, historic churches.
Numerous musical acts are being performed across the two concerts, featuring mostly local artists. "Normally we just have people in the area but we thought we'd just have someone a bit different this time," Ms Graham said.
"We thought we'd bring Sally-Anne Russell in who travels all around the place, she's just been to New Zealand and then to Vienna. She's a well-known mezzo-soprano and she's such a wonderful entertainer we thought we'd share her with the locals.
"The artists are all mostly new this year ... you get quite a variety too, clarinets, violins, guitars too and just the voice which is wonderful."
Ms Graham said the churches provided a great venue for artists and audience member alike to soak in the historic beauty of the buildings. "They've [the churches] usually got very good acoustics as well, that is quite good," she said.
"Plus the beautiful churches have some of the most beautiful stained glass windows, which make for a nice, peaceful setting."
Tickets can be purchased on the door/s, however, to book in advance contact the Tamar Valley Visitor Centre or the West Tamar Council Riverside office.
