Facing the under-16 development outfit, two quick wickets had the Tigers reeling at 2-20 before Riverside and Greater Northern Raiders representative Cooper Anthes and Lindisfarne's Thomas McGann compiled a 25-run partnership.
McGann was then dismissed for 19, bringing Ulverstone's Alex Wynwood to the crease, combining with Anthes for a 31-run stand before the Riverside off-spinner was sent back to the sheds for 29.

Wynwood and Nicholas Davis fell just short of a 50-run combination as Wynwood was bowled, leaving the Tigers at 4-122, which would soon become five before Davis (40) and James Simpson (24 not out) steered Tasmania to their 8-185 total.
The respectable score's defence started solidly with opening pair Sam Voss and Mowbray's Sam Freeman dismissing and tying down their opposing opening batsmen to leave CA at 2-15.
As the Tigers put themselves on top, Teague Wyllie and Joel Davies made life hard for the Tasmanians, combining for a 72-run stand before Anthes dismissed the latter for 31.
The 16-year-old spinner was unable to be kept out of the game, running out Liam Brickford (24) to keep the Tigers in the game at 4-125, with CA requiring 60 runs off 90 balls.
That proved to be the last bit of positive Tasmanian news with Wyllie piecing together an unbeaten knock of 86 and seeing his side over the line with Gaurav Dogra, skillfully seeing off spin twins Anthes (1-34 off 12) and Freeman (1-56 off 14).
