Nine of the officers will be stationed at Launceston, with dux of the course Madison Hickman among the North's newest members.
Constable Hickman had a long-standing interest in emergency services, so last year she completed the Career Development Programme offered by Tasmania Police to Grade 12 students.
"The career development course really cemented that it was what I wanted to do," she said.

Graduating alongside 10 men and seven woman after a rigorous 28-week training course was very exciting, Constable Hickman said.
"I think the environment within the academy has been one of the best things," she said.
"You are definitely a tight little group of people because you all understand what you're going through, so it is definitely a unique experience."
Born and raised in Launceston, Constable Hickman was looking forward to starting her career in her hometown.
Of the remaining recruits, there will be four stationed in Hobart, two in Burnie and two in Devonport.
Police Commissioner Darren Hine said graduating from the academy was a milestone in every officer's career.
"I hope each of our newest members are commencing what will be an enjoyable, long and fulfilling career," he said.
Clare McVeity was the course's runner-up dux, despite joining three weeks after everyone else.
An early resignation from the course opened up a space for Constable McVeity.
Inspector Bennett said she did an exceptionally job to not only catch up, but to also achieve the second highest ranking of those who graduated.
Of the remaining recruits, there will be four stationed in Hobart, two in Burnie and two in Devonport.
Tasmania Police has rolling recruitment, with applications processed as they're received. Recruit courses will be held in February, May and November next year.
