North Launceston's reign of dominance began at a time when the TSL still featured Burnie, Devonport, Hobart City and Western Storm.

Season 2014 saw the revamped TSL's only all-Northern grand final to date, and while the game itself proved a mismatch, both teams were brimming with talent.
Retired Collingwood superstar Chris Tarrant was one of four Northern Bombers to kick three goals in the 59-point win, while teammate Jay Lockhart has since gone on to establish an AFL career of his own.
VICTORIA
Northern Bomber Mitch Van Den Berg, who one year earlier had become the club's youngest-ever captain as a 19-year-old, departed for Werribee in 2015 and is now the captain of struggling Geelong Football League outfit North Shore.
Former AFL midfielder Sam Darley coached North Shore in 2018 before walking out to rejoin North Hobart this year.
Corey Nankervis likewise spent two seasons with the Seagulls after departing the Bombers following 2016's grand final loss before winding up at George Town this season.
Matt Hanson, who featured in Storm's midfield alongside brother Will, has been unlucky not to find his way into the AFL after winning three consecutive best and fairests at Werribee.
The 24-year-old polled five votes in this year's J.J Liston Trophy in a Werribee side also featuring trophy winner Tom Gribble (25 votes) and ex-Fremantle ball magnet Michael Barlow (14).
Newly-appointed Scottsdale coach Ethan Petterwood was another Bomber to spend time at Werribee.
TSL
Storm pair Mitch Thorp and Jay Blackberry have since wound up coaching and captaining Launceston respectively in the TSL, while Northern Bombers Taylor Whitford, Josh Ponting, Brad Cox-Goodyer, Jack Avent and Dakota Bannister all played in the 2019 flag.
Storm ruckman Haydn Smith has played in each of Lauderdale's three losing grand finals while Bomber Lochlan Young played in last weekend's development league grand final win.
Bart McCulloch went on to play another injury-plagued year for Storm before becoming a Northern Bomber in 2017.
NTFA DIVISION ONE
The 2014 TSL grand final produced an astonishing number of senior coaches, with Storm duo Tom Reinmuth and Beau Thorp both going on to coach Longford.
Northern Bombers Allan O'Sign (George Town), Geoff Mohr and Petterwood (Scottsdale), Andrew Cox-Goodyer (Rocherlea) and Ryan Worn (Hillwood) have also gone on to take head coach roles.
Other Northern Bombers to head back to the NTFA include Bryton Mullins and Daniel Roozendaal (Scottsdale), Zach Burt (George Town) while Storm's Jake Huett played in each of Bracknell's three losing grand finals - two of them against ex-Storm teammate Clinton Drake (South Launceston).
NTFA SECOND TIER
Teammates five years ago, Storm pair Alex Russell and Thane Bardenhagen faced off in this year's NTFA division one grand final as coaches of St Pats and Lilydale respectively.
Bardenhagen is far from alone among Demons to have played in the 2014 TSL decider, with Northern Bombers Logan and Joby Reynolds and Storm's Beau Tuthill all having returned to Lilydale.
Storm defender Lewis Ritchie captained East Coast's breakthrough flag in 2018, while teammate Zane Brown won a flag with Rocherlea in 2016 before moving on to Perth.
