The line-up for this year's Falls Festival has been given a Tasmanian boost with a number of new acts announced for the already impressive line-up.

Atlana-based rapper Playboi Carti, ruthless rockers Bad//Dreems, force of nature Montaigne, inspired guitar masters Holy Holy and sun-soaked futurist Wave Racer will all join the festival's national line-up.
Crowd favorite Illy, Tasmanian talents Luca Brasi and Kat Edwards will also hit the Marion Bay stage, joining the newly reinvigorated Wolfmother for a one-off performance.
Falls Festival organisers announced the new additions on Tuesday morning, building on an already diverse line-up consisting of Halsey, John Farnham, Vampire Weekend, Disclosure and Peking Duck.
Also appearing at every stop will be Elefant Traks alumni B Wise, jangling jackals A. Swayze The Ghost, the powerful vocals of Adrian Eagle and fresh from Bigsound, up and coming rockers Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers.
