Caught up in a half-time brawl which saw State League officialdom flock to the wing of Bellerive Oval, Bannister delivered a headbutt to opposing Lauderdale skipper Bryce Walsh in retaliation to an earlier incident.
Bannister was offered a two-match ban for his actions, deemed by the TSL match review panel as intentional, high contact and low impact, with the ability to be lowered to one game with an early guilty plea.
Walsh was unable to escape the grasp of the MRP for his involvement in the half-time melee with a one-match offer for striking Rhyan Mansell adding insult to injury for the defeated captain.
Completing his first premiership victory for the Bombers after jumping ship from South Launceston at the start of last season, Tepper was seen to have made an obscene gesture to the crowd which was deemed reportable.

Deemed low impact and high contact, the incident was the only one worthy of suspension from the six-point victory.
