Despite heavy rainfall on Saturday and an overcast Sunday, people enjoyed the many flower installations and exhibits at the Albert Hall, according to festival director Michael Preece.

"We had a bit of rain and wind on Saturday which was a bit challenging for people outside but on Sunday we had perfect weather ... if a little overcast," he said.
"There's plenty of people around outside and inside - all the activities are going really well."
"Sunday's are always traditionally a little slower at first because people like to sleep in the morning but once they get out and about they really enjoy it."
With more than 40 exhibits both in and outside the Albert Hall, people of all ages enjoyed the weekend. Mr Preece said the variety and popularity of the festival continues to grow each year.
"The thing is we've pretty well got something for everybody, I mean that's the great thing about it," Mr Preece said.
Donations from the event will go towards helping Headspace Launceston 'green up' its courtyard with both clients and support workers to benefit from the revamp.
