Saturday's 13.10 (88) to 9.5 (59) win added another glistening chapter to a story which has seen the Northern Bombers play each of the past six TSL grand finals for a return of five flags.
The result sentenced Lauderdale to a third-straight grand final loss, helped secure Josh Ponting's maiden Darrel Baldock medal and marked coach Taylor Whitford's second flag as coach.

The 27-year-old joined captain Brad Cox-Goodyer and defender Jack Avent as the club's only five-time flag winners in that period.
"It's just relief," Whitford said after the game.
"It's probably the hardest granny we've played in physically - they threw everything at us and we didn't back down.
"We knew coming into that last quarter we had to continue driving to score and we did."
The match itself was a fiery rollercoaster where Lauderdale threatened to come over the top on several occasions but North Launceston had the answer every time.
The Northern Bombers were more polished in the opening term, kicking four goals to one as Ben Simpson and Dakota Bannister converted 50-50 chances while their opposition missed routine opportunities at the other end.
Jay Foon showcased his class off half-back in the second, picking off loose forward entries at will and at the other end teenager Jackson Callow was every bit as influential, kicking his second of the day from a smart tackle and pinpoint set shot from 45m out.
On the stroke of half-time, tempers flared.
With an under-fire Rhyan Mansell buried beneath a swarm of Lauderdale jumpers on the wing, Dakota Bannister entered the fray and soon found himself yellow-carded after headbutting Lauderdale skipper Bryce Walsh.
Every umpire on the ground surrounded the scene before players eventually went to their respective huddles and left the Bellerive Oval surface.
Faced with a 21-point deficit to start the third quarter, Lauderdale cut the margin back to a clean two goals when Nicholas Raglione threaded a miracle snap while being brought down in a tackle.
Nine points was as close as the Southern Bombers would get, however, as Sherrin Egger, Callow and William Edmunds kicked the final three goals of the match to seal the deal.
"That first half it didn't look good for us at the stoppage - we thought that they were getting out the front too easily," Whitford said.
"It wasn't the structure of what we were doing, it was that they were getting those loose ground balls and hunting the footy better than us.
"Our guys knew that going into the second half we just had to hunt the footy a little bit more and get our hands on it first."
