Clarence have pulled off one of the biggest updates in TSLW history, defeating the Blues by three points.

UPDATE: three-quarter time - Blues hold lead
At three-quarter time, the lead stayed at 10 points with goals to Brie Rattray and Maddison Smith kept the Kangaroos at arm's length.
Back and forth play between the two sides meant the scoring began to slow but both sides certainly had their opportunities.
Following one of the highest-scoring first quarters in recent TSLW memory, Launceston hold a slender 7.5 (47) to 6.1 (37) lead at the main break.
Clarence came out of the blocks firing in the first-quarter shootout. putting the Blues under pressure early but Chloe Haines, Camilla Taylor and Daria Bannister worked hard to eradicate the Kangaroos' workload.

All three kicked a major each in the nine-goal first term with late inclusion Maddison Smith kicking two for Clarence and looking dangerous in her first finals game to have the score sitting at 6.2 (38) to 3.1 (19).
Clarence made the most of their second-quarter opportunities, blasting three goals to Launceston's one as Smith, Rachel Archer, Amy Prokopiec and captain Grace Mitchell led from the front.

The Blues found the wrong side of the sticks more often than not, slightly letting the Kangaroos back into it with captain Ange Dickson and Meg Sinclair stepping up their game.
