A man accused of robbing Kings Meadows Coles at knifepoint has been bailed.

Jarrod James Lodge appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Friday, charged with armed robbery, two counts of motor vehicle stealing and unlawfully setting fire to property.
Mr Lodge is accused of stealing a Mazda sedan in Newnham in March and a Holden Commodore in May.
It was alleged Mr Lodge set the Holden Commodore on fire at Underwood on the same day it was stolen.

Mr Lodge is also accused of stealing an assortment of groceries and meat products, valued at $609.99, from Coles on September 7 while armed with a knife.
The 18-year-old did not enter pleas when he appeared before Magistrate Sharon Cure.
The Summerhill man was bailed to reappear on October 23.
