A 17-year-old boy has pleaded not guilty to murdering Billy Ray Waters.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in a closed session at the Launceston Magistrates Court on Thursday.
He was remanded to appear in the Supreme Court on November 18.
His two co-accused, Christopher Lee Brown and another teenager, will appear in the Supreme Court on October 14.
Both have pleaded not guilty to murder.
