Mineral Resources Tasmania will accept applications between November 25 and November 29 for:
- The Caroline Creek area, south-east of Acacia Hills in the North-West;
- the Roberts Rd area, west of New Norfolk, near Maydena;
- the Brushy Rivulet area, north of Westbury; and
- the Chamouni Valley (also known as the Linda Valley), east and north-east from Queenstown.
The areas were relinquished from exploration leases held by various companies.
The Caroline Creek and Roberts Rd areas were listed for construction minerals, industrial minerals, semi-precious stones and any other mineral category which might be available.
The other two exploration areas were listed for metallic minerals, atomic substances and any other mineral category which might be available.
