Running over three days from November 15 to 17 at the Launceston Silverdome, the event was the brainchild of Adam Jones, director of Trident Building Surveying, Launceston.
"We first had the idea a couple of years ago, through our own business Trident Building Surveyors, we were getting asked a lot of questions from clients about what products to use, build ability and general construction queries.
"We originally had the idea to host an information session, with product suppliers and manufacturers, we got a really good response and ended up with too many people wanting to exhibit so we started to look for a bigger space and the expo idea was born."
With room for 120 exhibitors, the Tassie Build Expo will have all the latest products under one roof from leading Tasmanian suppliers.
With heaps of ideas for anyone wanting to build or renovate their home, from the start of building design through to landscaping and interior design, the expo will have it all.
Northern Tasmania has experienced a building boom recently and getting all of these exhibitors under one roof is really advantageous for those wanting to build or renovate in the near future.

The lineup so far includes engineers, architecture firms, furniture suppliers, banks, shed and garage companies, plumbers, pool and spa suppliers, solar and electrical companies plus many more.
Exhibitors will be offering a range of specials and offers over the three days, with some prizes up for grabs too.
"Northern Tasmania has experienced a building boom recently and getting all of these exhibitors under one roof is really advantageous for those wanting to build or renovate in the near future," Adam said.
"Tasmania doesn't get a lot of the new products as we aren't seen as a big enough market, one of the aims of the expo is to exhibit some of these new products and bring Tasmania in line with the other states."
With spaces still available, Adam said he encouraged businesses to get involved in this unique opportunity to get in front of current and prospective clients.
"At the moment we have hit 70 per cent capacity of the 120 spaces available, we still have availability inside or if exhibitors want a larger display area there are outside areas available," Adam said.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for those in the building and construction industry to position their brand and products in front of potential clients, engage with customers and enjoy the networking aspect of the expo."
While the event is open to the general public to attend at anytime, there will be a Trade Day on Friday, November 15 with exclusive talks with manufacturers and a CPD Training event.
"We don't want to exclude anyone from attending so the public are free to attend at anytime over the weekend," Adam said.
"We want to encourage the community to get behind the event, come along and support it and if we are successful we will look at holding the expo as an annual or bi-annual event."
With the event still two months away, the team behind Tassie Build Expo is busy planning behind the scenes with some exciting news still to announce in the coming weeks.
