Volunteers from the dance studio have been present at numerous events and held a Spooky Disco on Friday, September 13.
Studio owner Mel Street said the disco went very well, as have other volunteer efforts undertaken by the young dancers.
"We've had a big weekend of fundraising: we had a Spooky Disco at the studio on Friday, on Sunday we had a team do a car wash at the local fire station," she said.
In other news:
The group has been fundraising for over a year and are just over halfway towards their goal of getting 33 students to America in April 2020.
"They're gaining lots of life skills as well: they've been washing cars, they've been dealing with money and learning waiting skills; lots of things that will help them later on," Ms Street said.
"It's not just about earning their way to the trip but learning life skills for their future as well."
Bee Bop's next big event will be the Creative Kids Project showcase at the studio on October 20.
The event includes several artistic competitions to enrol in.
Categories children can enter include a photography competition, an art section, a live performance section and an impromptu dance section.
"It's not so much about being a fundraiser and more about getting children creative, displaying that creativity and applauding it," Ms Street said.
Cash prizes are up for grabs in each section, Registrations for all sections are open until October 13.
