Tasmania's premium food and wine was showcased during the event, with guests learning about the state's temperate climate and stunning locations.
Wine Australia executive officer Andreas Clark said the international grants helped states and regions market their wine tourism offerings - including locations, activities and experiences - to entice overseas visitors.
"We know that food and wine are big drivers for tourist activity, and with the right approach, tourism can be a great contributor to a winery's bottom line," Mr Clark said.
