Taking home the Oatlands District Football Association premiership in a dominant 12.19 (91) to 6.3 (39) win over Campania, the Mounties only lost three games all season and boasted an abundance of third-generation players floating throughout their side.
Brothers Mitch, Rhys and Jordan Byers shared the special grand final day together following in the footsteps of their father, Paul, who played in the 1987 premiership alongside his two brothers, Ricky and Adrian.

Grandfather Kerron also played at the family-based club with both him and Paul selected in Mount Pleasant's team of the century from 1927-2001.
Coach Nathan Barwick also re-created some family history in the side's premiership season with his father, Neville, leading the 1987 team to victory and playing at the same club as his grandfather, Louis.
Other third-generational players to take home a premiership medal included young gun Thomas Birchall, who took out ODFA's under-21 player of the year, Daniel Groves, Sam Cornish and Dougal Morrison with Rowan Barwick playing throughout the season before unfortunately missing the grand final.
Albert Thompson, James Manning, Max Lodge and Joel Hazelwood all continued their family legacy too, with their fathers all pulling on a Mount Pleasant guernsey in their career.
