The Winkleigh 48-year-old had a nervous wait at the weekend in the closest race for the women's title.
A countback had to separate a three-way tie on the Gold Coast after all scored 21 points following three chopping and sawing disciplines.
Beams only won after it was discovered she was little more than 10 seconds quicker on her combined times.
"It's awesome, just bloody awesome," Beams said about grasping the title again.
"The single buck didn't quite go as planned, but my time in the underhand chop certainly helped at the end of the day when all the points are earned together and it comes down to time. I was a little bit faster on that end."
The Tasmanian beat out nine of the country's most elite woodchoppers to claim the championship after the inaugural 2017 women's title.
More than 30 male, female and rookie choppers under the age of 25 fought out the championships across the springboard, the underhand chop and the standing block chop in classic axe disciplines, as well as the single buck stock saw and hot saw in the sawing disciplines.

The win confirmed Beams as the sport's standard bearer and the only female to now win the event multiple times.
The powerful mother-of-two axemen had only won the underhand world title nine months ago in front of a home Silverdome crowd.
Along with husband Dale Beams, the pair have also taken out world Jack-and-Jill championships in Burnie.
Beams was not the only Tasmanians entered on the Gold Coast, as brothers Matthew and Daniel Gurr, Josh Bakes and Kody Steers were also in contention to take out the male championships.
