A 1996 Bridgenorth premiership player, Paul Beechey returned to coach the club from 1999-2001 and led the Parrots to the 2010 flag in the middle of his second three-year coaching stint with the club.
Having finished perhaps his final senior coaching role earlier this week following a two-year stay at Old Launcestonians, Beechey was confident his old team would get the job done against a star-studded Hillwood outfit on Saturday.

"I've spent a lot of my footy at Bridgenorth and hold it pretty close to my heart," the 51-year-old firefighter said.
"In 2011 we got beaten in a grand final by Rocherlea so that was the last time I coached before I came back to here (Old Launcestonians).
"I think they'll go really well - it's a credit to them, all three sides in the grand final this week and I think the week off last week is going to really help them.
"I think they'll be fresh and running on top of the ground so I'm predicting a Bridgenorth win."
Saturday's game starts at 2.15pm.
