There were jubilant scenes when South Launceston became the NTFAW's inaugural flagholders in July, while St Pats and Lilydale had to wait another two months to lift their division one cups.
One of the closest top-tier seasons in recent history will also reach its conclusion at the weekend with either Bridgenorth or Hillwood poised to end a one-decade or two-decade flag drought respectively.
