Police were called to the Invermay Road scene about 8.30pm after a man entered the pizza shop and demanded money from a staff member.

The robber fled the scene on foot.

Police said he was seen walking towards a small dark-blue sedan, similar to a Hyundai Excel.

The man is described as 180-185cm tall, slim build, wearing dark coloured pants, a dark coloured long-sleeved jumper, gloves and sunglasses.

The staff member was not physically injured during the robbery.

Anyone with information about the incident, the robber's identity, or who saw someone acting suspiciously in the area is asked to call police on 131 444.
