Pipeline Dilemma

The Glamorgan Spring Bay Council seem to have created an unanticipated deficit of $600,000 for a water pipeline which was being laid from Buckland to Triabunna on behalf of Tassal, farmer irrigation, so-called "water security" for the Orford/Triabunna communities, and the Solis golf course, which the council either has acquired or is in the process of acquiring from the former developer Solis, who deemed the golf course and associated residential development to be financially unviable. The pipeline may be underwritten by Tassal, the biggest beneficiary of the pipeline, which if this is the case, has a financial obligation to contribute the outstanding amount of $600,000.
