Eskimo Joe, Vanessa Amorosi and The Whitlams will headline the three-day food and wine festival, set to return to City Park on January 31 with 82 stallholders.
Launching the 2020 program on Wednesday night, Festivale chairman David Dunn said the event continued to evolve and grow.
"Building on the 2019 event was never going to be an easy feat for the committee, but I believe we have achieved just that. I know 2020 will shine in its own right," he said.
Due to circumstances beyond their control Mr Dunn said a celebrity chef had withdrawn from the event, with organisers working to secure a replacement.
The celebrity chef will host the Festivale lunch on Friday, January 30 at Stillwater Restaurant along with the popular park program consisting of six one-hour cooking demonstrations presented by The Tasmanian Food Co.
"Our popular masterclasses will return showing the best Tasmanian beers, wines, spirits and ciders," Mr Dunn said.
"Fresh Comedy is back on Friday night and our incredible young talent will be showcased with RAW on the KPMG stage, which is held in conjunction with Theatre North on Saturday, and Festivale goers will continue to enjoy a great family line-up on Sunday, which is traditionally our day for families to get out and about and relax."
Tickets for Festivale 2020 go on sale at 9am on Thursday, September 12.
Mr Dunn said Festivale patrons were encouraged to buy their tickets early to be eligible for the Rotunda Prize.
Those who purchase a three-day pass prior to October 31 are automatically entered into the prize, which provides exclusive access for 12 people to the Rotunda on Saturday from 5pm onwards, with Boags beer and Tasmanian wine supplied, as well as $600 in stallholder vouchers.
