Explore Exeter
This little town is a treasure trove when it comes to quirky. Make sure to visit the Beehive where you will be able to taste uniquely different varieties of pure raw honey. Meet the beekeepers, learn about hive mentality and take a peek at their display beehive, where you can watch the queen laying eggs.

Glengarry Bush Maze. Enjoy the challenge of the formal hedge maze or take a relaxing walk in a natural Tasmanian bush setting to the fern gully. There are heaps of challenging activities and family games too.
Beaconsfield Mine. This interactive museum is perfect for kids and big kids alike. The hands-on-displays will keep everyone entertained as you delve into the mining history of the area.
Seahorse World and Platypus House. Get up close and see the platypus swim, learn about conservation work and join the echidnas as they roam at your feet. Pop over to Seahorse World for a whole other experience. Get up close to a range of undersea creatures and even touch a seahorse.

Take a stroll
What better way to finish your day than by taking a walk in one of Tasmania's most scenic areas. Notley Fern Gorge, Tamar Island and Wetlands, a beach walk at Greens Beach or into Narawntapu National Park your options are all equally idyllic.
